A quick look at the most wanted lists of the past 6months will tell you everything you need to know.

All that shows is the people who vote on that (not me as well as many others) want said games.

This is more representative as it calls it out in the title of the thread specifically.

Additionally, the poll is so far in Zelda's favor.

Zelda bundle #2... Gears3 #5.

Gears of War by miles

If i have a PS3, Uncharted 3 will be my second (I played UC2 at my mates, one of the best platformer this gen IMO).

@SuperChunk - Pre-orders is a better measure of anticipation than wishlists

umm...this proves my point even more...? The most wanted list is another way of say most anticipated...people here are more interested in Zelda than Gears...or anything else for that matter.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

If think Japan probably pushes Zelda just about into 1st, but it is close

I think the new gameinformer front cover and 10pages solely for ZeldaSS help prove my point that Zelda is more anticipated than GoW3.

???? that doesnt prove anything, Gears had its own cover months ago. Its the anniversary of Zelda which is why its having so much pages, they are covering an era of the series, not just one game. Lets see some preorder numbers , THEN you we'll talk

Re-read the discussion about the gameinformer... while a ton of pages are for the Zelda IP overall... 10 pages are specifically for this game.

SO what??? do you read GI on a regular basis? because i doubt it. Its the cover story, they always get at least that much pages. Hell Mass Effect 3 got 11 pages, AC Revelations got 11 pages, Saints Row 3 got 9 etc. Zelda is not special or no different than any other game that GI puts on the cover

not to mention that Amazon is not a good metric to go by anyway. Its not like they are the only retailers out there. Best Buy, Toys R Us, hell Target. Why not look at actual VGchartz numbers which would cover MULTIPLE retailers, but i guess that would just shoot holes in their theory. Funny how some people swear by this site's numbers, but if it makes them look wrong, they act like they dont exist

No so. Zelda (bundle) has only been available on pre-order for a week. How many months was Gears3 avail? Additionally, Gears is like other core games that sell 90% of their LTD in 3 weeks. Zelda is like other Nintendo IPs which sale maybe 40% in 3 weeks and have long heavy legs. So, you really can't judge it well from pre-orders, however wishlists show the desire or anticipation of wanting the game directly.

I wasn't looking at sales.... or preorders... the wishlist is a little different and more like VGCs most anticipated game which has had Zelda as #1  as well.

I would never quote Amazon for sales... that's just silly.
