I've just moved into my dorm room so I decided to treat myself.

I have a PS3, but my family wouldn't let me take it to college since they like to use it every once in awhile.

I wanted to have either PSN or Xbox Live to go onto (no offense Wii, but your online capabilities are lacking), and my roommate already had a PS3.

So I bought a 360, set up live, and now I'm playing Halo: Reach. yeeyuuhhhhhhh

So your family wouldn't let you take YOUR Ps3 to college? I'd be pissed if that was me, just saying.

360 for college is the logical choose since douchbags tend to play and break your consoles when your gone......

Nothing is better than being a part of both worlds. I also would treat myself to some kind of gift before every semester because I knew I would be working hard.

I second the earlier suggestion, grab Gears 1 and 2 and a mate and go through the campaign in splitscreen, will be awesome 15-20 hour bonanza of fun (more if you go back to chalk of the insane difficulty). It will also nicely prepare you for Gears 3 which will be mind blowing! I say grab a friend because coop really is king in the franchise and I've not found any other game that's more fun to play in coop.
