Imfamous is like a GTA/Mass Effect combo with a superhero theme from what i can tell. Or GTA/Freedom Force combo if you perfer.  Or was it a GTA/Bioshock combo...

 Either way, superpowers, roaming area.  If it's like crackdown i'll be highly disapointed.

Did you read the OP where the OP says the 360 or PS3 will get first place because the Wii is going to lose all steam? Or... not?

The wii got lumped in here because it was mentioned in the OP and dismissed as selling less then the 360 and PS3 by the end of 2008.  So.  Yeah, what are you complaining about again? 

for the PS3, I really wonder if Home might change something... I hope it won't be too much "second life style" full of gimmicks, but rather some improved system for good online gaming

hmmmm the original poster only has one post.. so basically a current or ex member created a bogus account to start a flame war..

i dont see how it could be the year of the ps3 or 360 if they both get outsold by the wii... going by the original posters logic the wii will slow down which i dont think it will... ps3 will have a good year though..

Both the Wii and the PS3 are going to have record-breaking years. The 360 is in a self-inflicted bind - it will never be able to compete with the Wii's mass market on price and functionality, and it has no BluRay/HDDVD capacity, so it can't compete with the PS3 over the long haul.

And no, the 360 can't just drop its price to $300 and expect a sales miracle. Sony is prepared for this - they could easily shave another $50 off the PS3 tomorrow if they had to. (Their margins in the all-important European market, which is catching up to the US market fast, are astronomical.)

Up to your usual bashing of PS3 lineups...

I have no diea why you continue to bash a series that has sold more than 4 million and up to 6 million (or more) copies on each release (MGS series).  There's no way it sells badly.

Anyway, I'm not sure why you are so sure Resistance 2 will not ship in 2008 considering Insomniac is constantly on time and very good about releasing a game every year.  They say they are rotating between Ratchet and Resistance every year so there's no reason to expect their team won't have that game ready in the 2 years they have had, not to mention the fact they had Resistance ready at launch (a game I think has proven itself the best available at that time period, including other consoles).

If you have played the Burnout Paradise demo I would be shocked you can't see why it will sell well.

LBP is the most hyped game besides maybe MGS4 for PS3 right now.  Give me a break.

Motorstorm 2 is being developed whether or not it's been announced officially. 

White Night is exepected to be released in the middle of the year.

At least you give in on GT5.

Yeah, that's about I expect from my Wii. It's the same as N64 and Gamecube except more people want it.

It seems like many people i've to talked about video games during and since the holidays all seem to say the same thing to me. i wanted a wii for X game... but couldn't find one. These people currently own PS2s or nothing at all, so that leads me to believe that the Wii will have another impressive year as the people who are buying them are people who would of otherwise bought nothing had it not been for the wii. (untapped market)

With that said, the performance of the ps3 this year will probably have the anti-sony crowd here backpedalling with their outrageous claims and saying stuff like "Well i didn't think X would happen this year... nobody could of seen this coming". I think it will sell much better than it did in 2007, but it will not sell enough to catch the x360 this year.

PSN cards are coming early this year, and from there Sony will make an effort to make the PSN store much better than it currently is (it is VERY lacking at the moment) and add new media to it. PSP and PS3 media integration will increase.

From the end of fiscal 2007 (March 31st 2007) many/most third party developers have been talking big about providing more and better support for the Wii, which we really stated to see in quantity in the second half of 2007 (quality will take time), and you expect the Wii to have only a couple of good games? There are as may significant third party games being released before March 31st 2008 as you and Legend11 are expecting from all developers in 2008; your expectations will be wrong on an amazing scale ...
