Though its a useful feature, if you experienced it on the 360 you would know that. I can remember countless times playing tekken while another friend played call of duty and we talked the entire time just fun and a great feature.

This, my friends, is called peer pressure. Once someone on the internet decided that cross-game chat was important, now EVERYONE believe that. I even have friends who didn't even know what cross-game chat WAS say that they want it on PS3 now. People have forgotten PS2 emulation because Cross-game chat is the "cool" thing to desire.

I fail to see how the OP is trolling, and its freaking hilarious how defensive the playstation community gets whenever CGC gets brought up. Most of them do not know how it works, and they come up with ridiculous alternatives because they can not have it, example Cellphones (LOL). It just amazes me how people can knock something without trying it, and if they do try it and dislike it they try to force their beliefs on others, and encourage those that did not even use it to continue to hate it.

most of his claims are bogus thats why people have responded in the way that they have

furthermore the thing i don't get is why with cgc being so valuable do only a fraction of the xbox live user base ( 13 million gold subs out of over 55 360s sold ) see the need in paying the fees for it?

maybe sony is hinting the next slimmer and cheaper PS3 will add in extra ram just to enable for cross-game chat?

this make sense just like how X360 slim add in wi-fi and hdmi output with cheaper price

I have tried it, because I have an XBOX 360, and I don't knock it, I enjoy it.

...But this thread is still flamebait, you are just adding fuel to the fire by whining on about "how defensive the playstation community" is.
