Rule of thumb, if your ideologies are different from those of those you consider heroes, then your ideologies are probably wrong.

Trust me, I know what he did was afterwards was disgusting, and I don't support communism whatsoever.

Gandhi I both respect as a hero, and I support most of his ideology. This thread asks about people we for the most part disagree with, so I didn't mention him.

Like I said, I only see him as a revolutionary and an inspiration to the oppressed people in the Arab world...that doesn't mean we approve of his reforms, which screwed the people over.

huh... im not claiming i know much about him (i dont), but wasnt he from argintina, and then helped in the cuban revolution. what does that have to do with the arab world

It's simple:

Us Arabs have long been living under oppressive, mostly either U.S. backed or Russian backed authoritarian regimes. The Cuban government he overthrew was no exception (it was U.S. backed).

Basically, I see him as a revolutionary figure of fighting imperialism, even though he was no better as a ruler. However, what the people revolting in the Arab spring want is a country that works for its benefits before a foreign country's benefits.

Che Guevera was born in Rosario, Argentinia so when exactly was he ever involved in the mass murder of any Argentinian please enlighten me.
