Like I said, you shouldn't try to categorise people, I rarely see people proclaiming themselves as PS3 fans and trying to be different to everybody else, they are just gamers who prefer the PS3 but never draw attention to it.

You can't expect there to be an equal amount of people who prefer the PS3 to people who prefer the XBOX 360. People always bat for the stronger team, there were more XBOX 360 fans before 2008 in the same way there are more PS3 fans after 2008, when the platform is at its strongest.

And as for XBOX 360 fans being level headed, I disagree with that. I often see them putting their heads together on eachothers channels and "ganging up" together, almost like they are rallying support for the XBOX 360. I mean this is understandable as people who prefer the XBOX 360 are becoming a "minority", but it still wasn't right. They are very hostile towards people who aren't XBOX 360 fans and from my experience they are pretty delusional, they were the reason why I lost patience, made trollish posts and quit the site for a year.

Anyway...I think I have said enough, just don't try to divide people, I get on with almost everybody here, Nintendo, Microsoft and SONY "fans", because they call themselves gamers and don't go on about how they prefer one console. I think in some ways it's a lot like racism :L there is a far more positive atmosphere when people don't bring up how much they loving being black / white etc.

Obviously the lack of activity on this forum is because of VGC 3.0... alot of users were dissapointed and still are.

The question is why though? This site is much better then it has ever been!

I'll second this, the new layout it awesome.

It still isn't perfect though (video embedding and game list filtering), but it was better than it was.

Better than the last one, yes. VGC 2.0 shits all over it though.

No VGC 2.0 was amazing because it had simplicity. VGC 3.0 was and still is a very complicated site for new users (and at the time, newer users)

I agree with this.

The lack of forum activity has more to do with the ridiculous amount of unneeded changes to the site.

At one point this site used to run really well. Now it is frustratingly slow and for what? More advertisements and video sections that also hit you with stupid ads inside and outside of the videos themselves.

Blame that and not any of the members here or any of the big three. I know I post a lot less because the site runs like crap and it seems as though whenever people complain about it they get the usual "If you don't like it then leave" attitude, which is precisely what they did.

I prefer to see low activity than posts filled with spammers. I might even dare to say that spammers where the cause some users left.
