Forums - Sony - SONY: All PS VITA games available digitally

This is old news, but great nonetheless. I like having the option of travelling and only needing my Vita with me. No need to bring any UMD's with me on trips I'll have all the games within my console.

But then again, I hope the prices aren't insanely high. Sony should have it where if you buy a game at retail, you can download it for free.

Bad idea. People would buy the game, download it, fileshare it, and return the game to Gamestop. Now maybe if they made it where you had to insert the cartridge after every five sessions or once a month and stopped the filesharing, it would be fine.

That's why VGchartz needs to find a way to track digital sales , it gonna be a big deal next gen

Prefer physical but it's great they're giving people the option across all titles.

such a variation amongst people in regards to digital distribution.
I think abstaining from buying a game digitally, (which is more convenient, cant loose it, all internal, etc) makes some appear to be ludites.

But then I understand not wanting to pay full price for digital, when at the same cost you could be buying a potentially collectable case and maybe an instructions booklet for your shelf and physical collection.

I think they should knock 10% off the price of digital releases for a few years until people are more accepting of new distribution models, after all it costs nothing to put it on the psn store. Plus there would be a huge uptick in sales and Sony could cut out the middle man. Its win-win.

but to the OP, I think it will be great to see everything day in date on the PSN, I wonder if PS3 games will start to become more dependable in this manner?

i'd guess no for the ps3 but my gut is thinking both the ps4 and xbox 720 will both have every game available for download.

If the pricing is anything like ps3's and psp's, DO NOT WANT!

Agreed. The pricing of digital copies is absurd. You can find physical copies at almost half the price new or even three times less used.

It most likely will be decently priced to overpriced when compared to SD cards. I don't get why Sony doesn't just accept SD cards...they have the whole market.
