Forums - Sales - Japan: 3DS sols 207k units last week

So yeah it sold more than the launch week

Radio Nikkei reports that Nintendo 3DS sold 207,000 units between 8-14 August, thanks to the price drop. This is the second highest weekly sales for the machine, beating out the second week after launch (206k).

Thats a lot more than what it looked like to me - I wonder if Media Create will be at 150k or so, given that they are occassionally 25% different on holiday weeks.

It's decent I guess.

Proof that if you give consumers the right price they will bite.

Better than I expected.

It's not the 1st Week of the cut that matters though, it's the Weeks following. Look at what's happened with the Wii pricecut for example.
