And I might even tell them that you freuqent video game forums where you have occasionally been warned/banned for trolling

Sure, there's nothing too embarrasing there, it could've been much worse.

Anyway, I could no doubt do more if I actually knew how to hack/could be bothered, but this was all simple google searching.

Reminds me of when someone who was (maybe still is) affiliated with the site posted a long time ago in an anonymous thread back when the scientology stuff was going on, how he didn't care because the internet was anonymous.

Took me about 5 minutes to find his real name, the college he went to and his photo.

Google is scary.

if they're going to hack farmville, i'll join them in this one.

Well, the only personal information that you can find on me is that I am a member of the communist party of Canada, a Methodist, and I like Futurama. Pretty much everything else on my FB is empty

Turns on the news tomorow. Canadian citizen Joel Reimer planted a bomb on a train in Turkey. Interpol issues an arrest warrant for the British Columbia man...... Oh shit!

If you freeze your credit with all credit bureaus hackers really can't do shit.  Freezing credit is the safest way to protect yourself.  However,  you should only freeze your credit when you know you won't be trying to apply for a credit car, car loan, mortgage, etc.. in the near future.  So freezing your credit basically makes any hacking worthless.

This is why Clark Howard (radio guy that talks about saving money and not getting ripped off) dissed Sony's response to them getting hacked.  Sony offered to pay for a year of credit monitoring which would have just informed you that someone might be using your credit.  He stated that Sony should have offered to pay for the credit freezes (about 15-25 per bureau) instead of monitoring.  Sure monitoring is a good but it does nothing to prevent credit fraud.  Credit freezing is the only preventative measure one can take to protect themselves fully.

Finally, something good from them (HUGE social networking hater here).
Hopefully this'll deal Facebook quite a good blow.

I doubt it ,since they will be ready for them, and facebook is the biggest site out there, besides google.com

They announced the same to Sony... and boom, crashed them.

Nobody stands a chance I think.

They didnt crushed, they crushed PSn. And PSN isnt Sony's only concern, while Facebook is Facebook's only concern, so they'll have a lot harded time tryign to bring down Facebook than PSn, since Facebook will get Facebooks full attention and defense budget

Well thats not the case with me at all. I don't care about being anonymous heck I use the same alias/handle on every site I use. I also use it in every email address etc...etc... I let everyone I know , know that I am JoelCool7 and I even on this forum have in the past mentioned my country , province and even city I live in. Everything about me is on the internet, I have an identity just like in real life online. (Sounds sorta nerdy lol)

I'm not really afraid of anyone getting my personal info, its not like I'm going to get kidnapped or something. I like having my whole identity up for the world to see. Also incase I ever do have problems I like having my activities and things recorded. Example I had a girl accuse me of stalking. Good thing instead of phoning we chatted over FaceBook, I had records of everything she said and they were widely availible as I backed them up and carbon copied etc...etc...

Its safer when everyone can see what your doing. I have haven't deleted a serious email in years and all my political things etc...etc... are up for the whole world to see.

So no I don't care to be anonymous I just don't care that people know these facts about me. Now that being said I wouldn't want facts coming out that I didn't approve of being on the internet. Such as private information (Which sites I visit, credit card info, banking info) and such. But I don't see why anyone would target me for that kind of info!
