Of course you do, but you're part of the problem. So tough luck.

Problem? The blind man is the one who doesn't want to see .
This may be weird, but a like button would be nice for the forums. So you could click like on any forum post.
A dislike button should probably be avoided though. But a like button would be neat. It's often you scroll down and see a post you agree with and you want to acknowledge that you share the opinion with this person.
It would probably also help to clear out all the posts that just consists of "i agree"
Btw I hate that my old online thread was locked ( few months ago) just because of new vgchartz.
Take my love, take my land..

I agree.
The option to multiquote would also be appreciated.
Please excuse my bad English.

Sorry but that is not a good idea.
If you agree with someone's post, quote it and see if you can add something to the discussion. Maybe an extra point they hadn't thought of or an interesting anecdote. We don't need more Facebook imitation.

You just suggested yourself to go back to the old colorscheme because it works so well for facebook etc. You even mentioned facebook in your post as a reason.(I also agree with it. The old blue and white forum was very clean and felt nice to use)
The like button is not a facebook exclusive feature.
I do disagree with you. I see your point, but I disagree with you on this.
Don't fear it for the simple reason that it's used by such a website, it's a powerful tool that gives you the ability to quickly mark your opinion.
Is it a fear of worthwhile comments not being written because the user will instead just opt to click like ? I'm sure people will respond regardless if they have anything to add. This would only help to clean up the forum of useless posts in a none intrusive way for the userbase. I haven't been posting here for quite a while either and i too would like to regain my interest in the place, so what i'm suggesting is purely out of the interest of that. It would certainly help get the website on the right track. In my opinion.
Ofcourse there are positives and negatives for everything but i believe it would be a valuable addition.
Another thing I'd really like is the chat room back(though i realize this is unlikely to happen). Sure it was barely used, but i had a lot of fun there along with some other users :P
I loved the Vgchartz of 2008. Good times. Everybody knew each other an it felt like a small community. There was a lot of freedom to post whatever you wanted and the moderators would not ban you.

Did we frequent the same site back then? Yes, the recently resurrected MontanaHatchet was a brilliant moderator, but FishyJoe and Shams were worse than all of us combined.
