I didn't think Crisis Core was that good. I think it was more nostalgia for FF7 than anything else. Or maybe it's just me.

Peace Walker, however, was awesome.

I'm kind of the opposite.  I've just started Crisis Core but so far my impression of it is postive.  Same thing with MGS Peace Walker.  I loved every game in the MGS series but, for some reason, I was really let down by that one.  After some initial promise and a couple of cool moments like trying to identify the Quetzal, the game began to feel really stale.  The story and the characters are the biggest part of an MGS game, to me.  In this one, the stealth was too easy and the bosses were all just giant robots.  Maybe if I had taken it online or something.

I know what you mean.

I might just go and lower my score for MGS: PW now.

Around the Network

1) CRIMSON GEM SAGA!!!(this game is the best RPG I've played on my PSP..it so underlooked)
2) Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
3) Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
4) Persona 3 Portable
5) Star Ocean 1&2

EDIT: and MGS: PW, not even that big of a MGS fan and this games was awesome

I wholeheartedly agree on Crimson Gem Saga.  The characters are great, the upgrade system is great, and the story is pretty fun.  If the puzzles weren't so obscure, I'd have added it to my top five list.  There's always the internet for when you get stuck, though.  Of all the PSP RPG's, I think Crimson Gem is the best of the breed.

- God of War (both of them, they're fantastic)
- MGS Peace Walker (& Portable ops if you're an MGS fan)
- Gran Turismo (if you like racing sims)
- Little Big Planet (I actually think it's better suited to the handheld than the console)
- FFVII: Crisis Core

Around the Network

1) FFVII: Crisis Core
2) Patapon
3) Jeanne D'Arc
4) LocoRoco
5) Pixel Junk Monsters Deluxe (I have it on the ps3 but is just as recommended here)

“When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” They told me I didn’t understand the assignment and I told them they didn’t understand life." - author unknown

1. Locco Rocco
2. Echochrome
3. Exit
4. Killzone Liberation
5. Burnout Legends
6. Cladun This is an RPG
7. Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs Darkdeath Evilman
8. Ultimate Ghosts and Gobilins
9. Crush
10. Guilty Gear Judgement

Since I got nothin' better to do, here's a list of PSP games I want to buy someday:

Jak and Daxter
Secret Agent Clank
Loco Roco (why the hell is the original still so expensive on the PSN?)
Patapon
Hot Shots Golf
God of War (both of them)
Syphon Filter (Whichever one isn't Dark Mirror since I already own that one)
WWE Smackdown vs. Raw (whichever version is most recent--if there's no 3DS version coming out)
The Third Birthday: Parasite Eve
Final Fantasy VIII (PSN--solely for the music!)
Final Fantasy IX (PSN)
Any Persona game (never played one but it's getting a lot of love in this thread)

That's about all I can think of. My PSP library is already pretty hefty but if I can play/beat all of those games, I will finally be at peace. I need to buy another 16GB memory stick!
