I had the same trouble you describe above, but with the Wii. As I recall, I had some special character in my username. I changed it to be lowercase letters only, and I didn't have any problems after that.

If i bought it 2 weeks ago i would've been really pissed... yes i am a bit pissed as i would've rather spent it on real games... that said the other than Zelda and Street Fighter i don't see any other game worth getting now.
Plus it helps i haven't downloaded anything on my Wii, so i'll be hoping to get some good NES games as well as some GBA games which i've missed

Once again your gif distracts me, but on to the point it's very true that you get to play some old gba nes games that you may haven't had the chance to play. Idk though I think I would be some what angry still, I say nintendo should have gave everyone $50 gift cards or something.

But gift cards would actually cost Nintendo money! The way Nintendo did it, many people won't ever download their free games and even if they did, it wouldn't cost Nintendo anything except potential sales.
