Tabloid, in other words, fake news. Why do people enjoy/buy them when they know it's fake?
same reason people watch abc, cbs, nbc, cnn, msnbc?
Its just good gossip and its nice to use a trashy mag about celebs to unwind sometimes, its like asking why girls would bother spreading rumours, judgments & speculation about other girls. Its just fun sometimes & everyone does it. It doesn't really matter if its real, its just funny/interesting to see what is actually said. Everyone knows to take it with a huge grain of salt.

This, plus people like to do it to celebrities because they have lots of money and are attractive and putting them down or talking trash about them makes people feel good.

From personal experience, I can say that most who buy them, think the info presented there is real.
