This guy is a little too attached to Nintendo. Yes I would be disappointed but I'm not going freak out about it.

don't give a shit for as long as there are good games, nintendo isn't the only video game maker in the world.

Oh, my mistake, I forgot all NES's and SNES's had burst into flames by the year 1995, meaning I couldn't possibly have played one. You must be pretty insecure if you call me out because of my age, you might be 25 but your maturity's got some catching up to do. |
Oh sure, it's possible that you actually played a lot of NES and SNES games and liked those consoles. But Occam's Razor indicates that you're lying, as indicated by the combination of your age and your post history (example).

Seeing as how that would rule out every smartphone, PC, tablet and console on the planet that isn't Nintendo's, no. It would suck. Like the greatest vacuum cleaner of all time, it would suck really hard! |
What if they were the only company making dedicated hardware left?

The list contains a Mega Drive game.
As for the NES and the SNES, I knew they were good consoles but I still didn't play them much, all my time was consumed by my PS1, which in my opinion had far better games.
I could take some pictures of my SNES if you want (NES is long gone).

"As much as I liked the NES and SNES" --> "I didn't play them much, PS1 had far better games"
Thanks for admitting you were lying, saves the forum another useless discussion.

Was that an attempt at trolling? Or is it just that time of the month?
I liked the NES and the SNES, but in the end, I didn't spend that much time playing them, I used my SNES more for Gameboy games than I did for SNES games. I still played enough games and know enough about the consoles and what they had to offer to form an opinion on it. I believe the PS1 has the best games out of any generation, when I think of my top 10 games of the 90's, a SNES game doesn't pop to mind. Please point out where I managed to contradict myself there.
Stop accusing my of lying and stop trying to pick an argument, it wouldn't hurt to treat people with some god damn respect too.

Nobody who liked the SNES would be able to make a top 10 games of the '90s list without mentioning at least one SNES game. |
That's so true considering that FF6 was better than FF7 as far as the test of time goes. There was also Tales of Phantasia, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, Turtles in Time, and a whole lot of other shit, the SNES was fucking beast.

and also Chrono Trigger which a lot of people still consider the best JRPG ever made lol, damn I miss Squaresoft.

Fair point, but it's for these 3 reasons.
1) I don't like 2D games outside of arcade classics or platformers.
2) My favourite 2D platformer is Sonic 3, so no SNES platformers made the cut, I only played Mario on the gameboy.
3) I didn't experience the very best games the SNES had to offer, including the Final Fantasy's.
I don't think those 3 points stop me from forming an opinion on a console, they don't give Chrizum the right to treat me like shit either.
