Sony is rumored to reveal a brand new slim ps3 this august. The console will be renamed the "PSTHREE" instead of "PS3". There is a pic of the new console in the link.

Ya or na on the look. It looks like the slim ps2. 

Looks alright, but it seems unnecessary.

Too boxy for me, I prefer the more rounded look, a slim would be welcomed if accompanied by a price cut. Otherwise, who cares...

My sentiments exactly. If done right however I think it will raise sales a bit.

It's hideous.....it really is lol. Will this be sold alongside the current model or a replacement?

I have no idea, but if I had to guess, it will probably replace the current model now. 

Talk about step back in terms of design ...

The has to be the weakest rumor I've ever encountered. This guy's only reasoning is Sony's done the same with PS1/PS2, so he predicts that they'll cut the size of the PS3, something they've already done with the PS3 slim in 2009. This guy gives no new information from any sort of inside source or anything like that. He's just some analyst giving a prediction based on past trends. Something any random person could have done.

And even if there was to be a PSThree, it wouldn't look like the picture. Simply because, as of now, no one but Sony knows what it's going to look like.

It's just some random guy's prediction. I wouldn't even label this rumor worthy.

The console look OK, but i'm not buying the"psthree" branding. Likely that we might see a redesign but i see the branding remaining ps3 and not psthree.
