highly doubt it, the new 3500 ps3 ( that hasnt been shipped) has been torn down already it looks the same as the current ps3 w/o a few features

Ya with some sort of ad campaign it may raise sales a bit as people always enjoy, "New" things.

reminds me of PS2 slim model. if this three is still sort of big we could still see another re-design

this may confuse the market/consumer so i think  sony would be better off keeping the mane as is PS3
