It's not so easy because they are disruptive games. It is Wii Sports that sells Wii or Wii that sell Wii Sports ? and It was SMB that sold Nes or viceversa ?

Nope , Im fine with those numbers , just that sometimes people praise Nintendo a bit more than they deserve ...

 The only memorable thing they did IMO was that they resurected the gaming industry in 85 ... and common , if Nintendo wouldent have done that , than a nother company would have ...

 

Not that they didnt do nothing , and man theyb had some great games , but that doesnt means that other gaming companys didnt do at least as good , if not batter ;)

The depressing thing is that most of those games are absolute garbage designed to milk children of their pocket money.
Tetris is about the only game that still holds up (sorry Mario fans), and it's creator did not see any of the profits thanks to the Soviets attitude towards intellectual property.

And other sources (i.e. NPD) tend not to include pack-ins for obvious reasons. The list is very misleading regarding the popularity of certain titles, although it wouldn't make much of a difference other than you would see a GTA or two in there.

 Take the nintendo out of the equation and sales and profits would be dismal for 2007, Wii and DS drove the industry in 2007

Boy, some folks are bitter!

Nintendo could have the top 12 by the end of 2008. Between Pokemon D/P, NSMB and Wii Play, 2 could pass 16 million within the next 12 months.
