Lol ... thas why Zack and Wicki are biggesr hits than CoD 4 ... this argue is the worst so far . Yes , I agree many people buy their PSPs as PMPs , but saying that most people buy their PS3s just for movies ... lol , just lol .


 lol? Thats why Zack & Wiki had a higher budget than COD 4 i guess ?

 

I hope you know what development costs and profits are. Capcom has stated that they are happy with the  sales of Zack & Wiki at the moment, because they expect word of mouth to help that game sell. Slow, but steady sales.

Not really, 360 was over tracked by VGC when comparing to the last 2 months of NDP data. It was over tracked 200k in 2 months.

Right because VGC's 2% sample is way more efficient than NDP's 40-60% sample.

Don't fool yourself my friend. 360 is over tracked in both America and Others (France/Germany at the very least but I have a feeling it's over tracked in UK too). On the other hand, the PS3 seems to be under tracked in Others too.

Anyway, lets wait for end of January to see the official numbers on Sony/MS/Nintendo earnings reports.

They always have accepted that some games bombed, like Okami, some RE games, latest Street fighter games, etc. 

And you didn't got it. Zack & Wiki was a WAY cheaper game to make than COD 4, thus it doesn't require to sell a million to break even.

If capcom staff have stated that Zack & Wiki it's doing fine, why people on forums can't accept that?

Because Sega was sayiong te same a month before they burried the Dreamcast ... thats why . People lie all the time you know . Oh , and a game doesnt has only to break even , it also has to bring some profit in ...

If most PS3 owners got their PS3s for MGS4 and FFXIII, then why would you think those title would be system sellers?  Wouldn't the people who want these game, by your logic, already own a PS3?

I don't get this that PS3 can't sell software. Look european chart. PS3 sells more software than X360 with bigger userbase. In USA PS3 sold software 942k last week with 3.3milj userbase. X360 sold 2.8milj with userbase of 10.1milj. Only place where PS3 sells poorly software is japan.
