I know home will be used by more people and used more frequently. Wii fit is a FAD. It will be no different if you brought the AB king Pro and used it for a week. That is Wii fit. People often buy things they have god intentions of using to get fit than they don;t. I know I have the ab king pro and I don't use it anymore :P

Totally agree . WiiFit is yet a nother Wii Sports . Extremly lite on content , and something that people buy from an impulse . Home on the other hand has the chance to become the next user monster . IMO the ammount of Home users will pass the ammount of WoW and maybe even XBL users untill Q1 09 ...

Oh ok so then WiiFit is just another Wii Sports. Is this the same Wii Sports that has helped the Nintendo Wii kick severn kinds of shit out of the PS3? Is this the same Wii Sports that has become a bit of a phenominom? Is this the same Wii Sports that has brought gaming to the masses and casuals?

Face it, some people are scared of WiiFit and what it could potentially do to the sales of the PS3.

You are thinking too short term my friend. One year of great sales does not ass kicking make. When we get a clearer picture in a couple of years time then we can make such statements

 QFT!!!

@GGE

Im just responding to azzers rant.

So in a thread proclaiming Sony's pre-emptive victory over this generation the defense offered in turn to Nintendo's possible threat is, "Let's wait a couple of years before we make such predictions"

Oh the irony

Oh the irony

 I don't see this thread proclaiming that at all. I see it as sony supporters being happy that the ps3 is finally starting to have some success. And if that is getting this much of a response from those that don't support Sony then god help us if and when Sony really starts to catch up

Let us just let things unfold and enjoy our games. Why must every thread with good intentions degenerate into a my console is better than yours debate.

For so long you've told yourselves that Sony was doing just fine so I guess it only makes sense now that Sony has achieved some minor success that you'd think the second comming of Sony Christ was upon us.

Threads like this get so many anti-Sony responses because of:

1. The copeous amounts of eroneous claims made.

and

2. The fact there are like 14 of these damn threads congesting the forums.

Because, people are people.

@GGE

Compared to the 360 sony has been doing better than its 1st year, if the ps3manages to continue its 200k sales on a weekly bases the ps3 has taken off.

 That's true so that is why from now I will try and post less and play my games more. And everything else will sort itself out.

i dont think wii fit was intended to be the wii fit board's main game. i think it was just to showcase the wii fit boards capabilities. the board will obviously be used more in games and stuff. same with the eyetoy. it came out wiht very light software just to show of the camera, now more and more games use the actual eyetoy.

 Norwegian media caught a buzz about some surfing and skateboarding game for the Wii using the WiiFit, which could possibly make core gamers purchase it too. But they're just rumors as of yet, I'll get back to it if I hear anything! And I still doubt it would boost the sales significantly or at all.
