With all 3 being so close and the 360 being the strongest in the US... I think the 360 wins this holiday.

What are you basing this off?? The ps3 has been outselling the 360 WORLDWIDE since the start of this year!

By not very many at all...  and

The US and the UK (basically English speaking territories) have the biggest boost over the holidays... these are the main 360 markets.

But allow me to illustrate further (and to deal with your point above):

VGC May and June 2010: PS3: 1,511,236, 360: 1,222,092

VGC Nov and Dec 2010: PS3: 5,527,370, 360: 6,305,487

Well said. This is why worldwide sales will likely be pretty even between PS3 and 360 by the end of the year.

When happened the last 360 price cut? Since when it was selling from $149?

in 2008 when it got its last baseline price cut, it beat PS3 in Americas and EMEAA over the holiday.

I'm not sure that right....  Isnt the official price for the 360S 4GB still $199?

You right... I checked Amazong and saw $149,00 but Microsoft official price is $199 yet.

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox360/Consoles/Systems/Xbox3604GB

Every console gets random price cuts once in a while. DS is currently selling for $198 at Wal-Mart in Canada (Normal price is $249).

What I have noticed more in Canada is that the 360 Arcade gets more local chain specific price cuts, but PS3 comes bundled with more games, more often. I never see the 250GB 360 go on sale, and Michael Patchner said that the Arcade console only accounts for something like 10% of 360 sales. This pattern is just what I've noticed in my specific region, I can't say it applies everywhere.

A price cut could affect either console more dramatically, evenly, or just die off like the Wii's and PSP's did. If 360 AND Kinect get slashed, 360 could easily outsell PS3. However if this is just a console price cut, PS3 could easily outsell 360.

How can Wii be selling 120k this week, but Wii Sports Resorts only sell 74k? Wii Sports Resorts is bundled with essentially every Wii (except old inventory from over a year ago) in every region except Japan, which only recently started getting Wii's bundled with the game. This makes no sense, something isn't being tracked right... Even if you add Mario Kart and Wii Sports, you only get 122k in sales, does that imply no one bought Mario Kart, or Wii Sports off the shelf? I doubt that since Mario Kart was still a 20-30k weekly selling games.

Mario Kart plus Wii Sports is over 142k not 122k.

Mario Kart plus Wii Sports is over 142k not 122k.

68k + 54k = 122k

Check your math.

If game sales are accurate, Wii sales are inflated. If Wii sales are accurate, Game sales are underestimated. Something just isn't adding up.

I meant Resort.  The Wii hardware in Japan includes Resort but not Wii Sports.  I don't know whether that is true in Korea as well, but in the past they didn't have Wii Sports bundled, same as Japan.

Slim and Kinect release. This year, PS3 could get a price cut, and we all know what happened last time that happened.

as will 360...

And the 360 got a price cut right along the PS3 back in '09, too.  The price cut benefited the PS3 more back then, and it will this time, as well.
