What!?!?! Lol!! The XBox didn't even last 6 years; what are you talking about. Unless you were being sarcastic. The PS2 actually launched a year before the XBox and Gamecube and just about every developer who knew gaming code had jumped on the PS2 band wagon. Microsoft pretty much had to beg and plead to get any Japan developers on board to make games for their XBox.

Perhaps they didn't know it was refering to sales.. meaning they are embarassed and figured that it was quality based on exclusive games.

From what I understand The X360 is heading towards a final number of 13.8-14 million. So even if it's overtracked by say 300K it would have it's best year in history. That is truly amazing.
