Nice, Nintendo is going to be very close to 20 million for the end of the last two weeks, JL's prediction is very close to coming true



 

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Lets see how numbers look after most kids have spent their money they received at Christmas, so at least we have to wait for next weeks numbers .... :)

wow at 360 numbers in NA... only 40k more than ps3... ioi will probably change the 360 numbers in the coming weeks but still wow

As expected ps3 had THE LOWEST drop off in sales.

 If they had dropped off as far as Wii did there wouldn't have been any PS3's sold

Well that's right Leo-j, the least popular console will always have the least drop off, if it sold 4 units last week and this week it sold 3, that's only a drop off of 25%, but then again, you're only 15 and still in school right?

yes MS has deep pockets and are committed with the 360, but they are a business and will not continue to launch product that aren't highly profitable. I am sure there is people inside MS who are thinking that the xbox investments could be better used in more profitable ventures.

 Depends, since many believe that Xbox was a defensive move against Sony, so they might be willing to lose money to keep sony from hurting their money making divisions

and the Wii is about where I thought it would be this week. I don't think it will reach 1,000,000.

You just cant admit Im usually correct about my predicitions. I was off for the ps3 WW sales being at 400k, they are going to be 440-450k :D
