you say that as if it were a fact as opposed to a prediction...  we don't in fact know that to be true, all you need for evidence is how shitty the ps3 did in the wake of the ps2.  past performance do not guarentee future success.

It seems like this might be what happens when your userbase is primarily casual.... however i've always thought the problem with the 3DS is that the DS is still on the market. the 3DS is competing with its predecessor which many users are satisfied with at the moment they just dont need or want to spend money on a 3DS. i'm sure if some of those games released on the DS they would be a bit more successful.

and the sales will pick up eventually... probabily. as of now i'm a bit more interested in the PS Vita, but it will be interesting to see if the hardcore users will support the console or will it go the same way as the 3DS...

But you're right, Hudson went down anyway. I don't think this is any kind of trend.

And companies should know that releasing games for a platform is the best way to get it going and being able to have huge successes on said platform in the future. Also, when there are practically no games any semi-decent game will sell well, so this should be an advantage IMO.

3rd parties are massive douches- that's all there is to it. With the Wii and DS they said that Nintendo's dominance over their own consoles was preventing them from making games, and now it's the opposite situation.

Megaman Legends 3 got canned because Capcom decided it was a good idea to base whether or not the game would be made on SALES of the DEMO.

actually it's Nintendo's fault that they didn't make a Mario launch with carts and 2D platform

dogs did not do the job like with the DS, and now 3DS sales have gone to hell along with many great 3rd paty games, where cancelling games will definitely not help the console

I'm sure they'll change their mind when 3DS has price/Mario drop

the 3DS still has loads of games to come out for it in the time being, unless the situation with third parties stays the same at this time next year, then they'll be something to worry about

I think this christmas and the marketing blitz and accompanying game launches will be what makes or breaks the 3ds...

From all this game we never saw a single picture. I don't believe they ever exists.

Games get canceled every day and the only non shovelware games from this list are Mega Man 3 and Assassins Creed.

Hudson ist bankrupt, the DJ Hero Games are all big flops (despite good critics). The production most of these titles would be canceled even millions after millions of the 3ds would be sold.
