Love this chart!

Me too ;)

1. Green line is only slightly ahead of red line despite huge advantage in user base (i guess RROD replacements and custom firmware take their toll here)

2. The trend suggest's blue line should be below red one soon ;)

Am I missing something? The hardware charts are far closer together between the ps3 and 360 than the software. If anything this chart shows xbox 360 owners are buying more games per console than ps3 owners "even with half of 360 sales supposedly being out of comission ^^"

You are missing that those are NPD numbers

@kowenicki

So wait a second.......Vgchartz has the Wii overtracked in NA according to NPD by about 500k units? Am I readin the correct?

It would appear so.

I can't wait for the financial numbers.

If we've overtracked it in America by ~500k, then I'm really curious to see how much it's really sold in EMEAA. Wouldn't be surprised if we had it ovetracked like the DS was last Q, actually selling more than it's shipped...

Interesting article.

1.  the gap is growing, almost twice what it was this time last year.

2.  the blue line is below the green line already.... dont think it is on VGC though.... ???

If i'm not mistaken, VGC counts WS and WSR (the bundled sales) while NPD doesnt. Hard to tell how much is bundled now
