Haven't clicked the link yet cos I'm on a bus but I've seen the whole demo elsewhere. I think there are going to be a great deal of people very surprised at what the U will be capable of when it launches. From what we've had confirmed from both IBM and AMD it's going to be 4 or 5 times more powerful than the PS3 and 360. I really can't wait to see what the LyN engine and MT Framework engine will be able to do with that much extra power.

That really was a great video. I never realised that if you rotated the controller your angle would change too! :p  Pretty cool!
Better yet, why not make it available right from the start? Like those games/applications on 3DS, instead this time it would be a video to show people how the controller works.

Yes, we were all very impressed with the gyro controls when the demo floors videos started coming out.

looks fantastic, but tech demos always do

then again aparently the dev kits at E3 were underclocked and the fact the demo is shown from two persectives is very impressive.

lol never saw that demo before.

But this is a video not actually in game as you can see with the Wii U demo you can control the camera that means it is rendered in real time.

The Rebirth video definitely wasn't  a tech demo. They were mainly made to show everybody that the Gamecube could display Full Motion Video like the ones seen on the PSX Final Fantasy games because they were now using discs instead of cartridges.

It was also supposed to tell a story of a changing Nintendo.

You can see them in full here.

Ah ok I did not know that, thanks for the clarification.

I thought it was weird as Nintendo never shows a demo that is superior to what they can do with the hardware.
