Yes, I thought it was pretty simple after my Chinese friends showed me how. The more you do it the easier it becomes. When you first start using them you may find it easier if you hold them lower down.

Tried many times, but I can't use them at all.

I stick to the good ol' fork and knife

About month ago?. No. Nowadays. Yes. Visited Japan couple of weeks ago... Amazing trip.

No,I don't know the anicent chinese secret. Grasshopper.

Yes, for an Asian guy that is a little bit messed up. ( I meant it is messed up for you, I am south asian...)

At one time I was getting the hang of it, but now I feel like fork elitest, and believe that I shouldn't even bother with method of eating that I consider any necessary.

You're asian!! Would never have guessed.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Today one of my friends showed me again the proper way to use chopsticks and....
....and.....
....failed again....

I can play guitar pretty good, but I just can't seem to use chopsticks. Weird....

Nope... I prefer a fork and knife. I'll never use chopsticks again in my life. I write with my left hand but I use my right for everything else so I might be the best candidate for chopsticks. Basically, I don't want to hold two sticks in one hand.  I probably use a knife more than most people.  On some foods people cut it with just a fork but I stick with a knife even if it could be cut with a fork.
