I haven't used Gamespy for actual gaming in years. Some of their editorial articles though are kinda awesome. I am still sad that they absorbed Heat.net back in the day.

Sadly though, I would still rather use Gamespy over GFWL.

Idk...GFWL is pretty bad, it erased my game saves that I had for offline GTA IV and I had to repeat the first segment of the game and it erased my Ballad of Gay Tony save but oh well. At least I get achievements?
