Forums - Gaming - Pushing Battlefield 3 and bashing MW3 makes me want to preorder MW3....

Here is the newsfeed article I am referring to:

The more outright bile and anger thrown at MW3 and hating on the Modern Warfare/Call of Duty franchise I see, particularly to prop up Battlefield 3, the more it makes me want to preorder MW3, so I can shove it in the faces of FPS fanboys who feel they are on a mission to get people to buy a title from one large game company instead of another one.

It is now like, does this REALLY annoy you?  Good, I will try to get 20 people to preorder MW3 just because... and this is coming from someone who thinks the storyline in MW2 was garbage.

By the way, ModernWarefare3.com now points to EA's Battlefield 3 site.

EA has nothing to do with that.

And LOL to getting 20 people to preorder MW3, of course a bunch of people are going to preorder it it's innevitable that the game will sell about 10m+ on both consoles.

Hope u like the game.

Personally I'll buy the much better looking game in battlefield 3. =D

So you're going to push a game on people after getting mad about people pushing a game on you? Yeah, that makes perfect sense and isn't hypocritical in the slightest...

Nah, just get 20 people who were planning on preordering MW3 to SAY that they were doing it because of the website redirect to Battlefield 3.

I agree 100%. EA is making me mad by the way they are pushing their generic fps crap claiming it is so much better than Activisions generic fps crap. Needless to say though, I will pick up my copies of these titles with an angry face because everyone else buys those games so I might as well too. Kinda sad really. :(

How abour preordering a derivative of "a rehash game like MW3" in the name of Battlefield 3?  Yet, this is what is going on over and over and over again.
