No I don't agree that all developers didn't start working before E3, that's ridiculous now. I was talking about the devs that were kept in the dark. Why are you trying to spin something you will never be able to?

And then, releasing next June before E3 starts is less than a year after this year's E3 finished.

Ahh, yes, I love that logic. 'Some developers were kept in the dark therefore all developers will be incapable of producing a title for launch'. Quite clearly, those that were kept in the dark won't be the ones that produce launch titles, ignoring ports, remakes, and games along the lines of Wii Sports. Those who were not kept in the dark will have plenty of time to get high quality launch titles together.

Well, I'm willing to bet against you in terms of the release date. If it's less than a year from the date it was announced, you win, if it's more than 14 months from the announcement I win, with a 2 month gap in which we call it a draw. You choose the stakes (but I will not do anything that would offend others or get me banned)

I never said all developers will be incapable of making a Wii game at launch, but I do think the vast majority won't be able to deliver something that's considered good.

About the bet, sure. 1 week of avatar control? Nothing offensive sounds fine.

Proud poster of the 10000th reply at the Official Smash Bros Update Thread.

tag - "I wouldn't trust gamespot, even if it was a live comparison."

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Well that will of course come down to how many studios had at least partial specs, and of course the release date. Both of which we shall have to wait and see.

1 week avatar control sounds good.

The dark pact is made; I will bear witness to this horror.

Wow why would Nintendo keep their own devs in the dark about the console, that's just Sparta!

They wanted absolutely NO leaks at all regarding things. So, keep it secret and then let them know once the cat is out of the bag.  It is likely the word got out to places like VGChartz within a month after being released internally.

"When I think about the two screens being used at the same time, it seems like an interesting opportunity to allow us to create a console game where two people are playing at the same time but can't see each others' screens," said Koizumi. "It's certainly an interesting approach, but I have to clarify that it's not something that we're working on just yet."

has two wii-u controllers been confirmed?  i thought nintendo say the wii-u controller will not be sold seperately?

...but i do like the idea if possible.  why do i feel like one of the only guys on this site that actually likes the looks of the controller (minus the analog nubs).  aren't i suppose to be the hater not our resident nintendo fans?

That sounds like either it has been confirmed by that comment, or he is STILL in the dark regarding the system itself, and the specs.  I think two controllers would be ideal for the system.  But do see the 3DS is also going to serve as a controller in some function.
