Forums - Nintendo - Where is Okamiden?

Yeah i dont want to import either as if i understand right import cartridges dont work on the 3DS? And i will upgrade at some point im sure.

I certainly see alot of US imports for DS games on ebay that say NOT compatible with DSi XL or 3DS, so im guessing they went region locked after the lite.

3DS games are region locked, DS ones are not.  I have a U.K 3DS and have a collection of U.K and US DS games, I can play my entire DS catalogue on my 3DS.  I just can't play Japanese or US 3DS games on my European 3DS.

Most games which say 'compatible only with DS and DS lite' are pirate copies, that won't play on newer DS models

Try Zavvi or The Hut. They're still on sell there.

They seem like a fair option.

24retail dont show stock levels, so that could be a gamble.

Looks like importing a US version is the only option.

There's still some stores in Spain/Portugal who have this game (it's hard to find, but is still there), like Fnac and GAME's stores. And it seems the game is in english (just the manuals are in spanish/portuguese).

Take a look here for example:

But you better go for the US, since it's cheaper and easy to find. That or wait for Zavvi or others to restock the game. :/

I got mine from Vintage Stock, a store that sells used games of all kind, movies, CD, and memorabilia. That's what I would suggest, but I don't know if they have places to buy used games in Europe.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
