Forums - Sales - EMEAA UP! (18th June)

91% boost seems off for 3DS. If my math is right..(and it sometimes isn't)..isn't that under 4000 units? Did 3DS really sell that low in EMEAA last week? Or does my math suck?

Either way, its good to see a 3DS game finally boosting the 3DS aside from just One Piece. Hope it doesn't drop back down -too- fast.

good week for the wii and zelda. nice to see the big 3DS jump, but like others said zelda (although popular and will provide a nice boost) probably won't be a steady hardware mover -- for that we'll likely have to wait for mario

that said, if zelda has a huge week it has a chance to be the best selling game on the 3DS already (its currently at #11 with only EMEAA!)

Well Mercenaries should do a bit of business, and its great to see 3rd parties advertising their 3ds games.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

WoW @ GT5! Looks like the legs are finally beginning to tell their story

There are a chance to GT5 show better week 30 numbers than GT4 did .

Hardware seens weird.

Why were people expecting more from Child of Eden? The game is almost full price has little to no replay value and is ~2 hours long with simple unchallenging gameplay, it is the very definition of an "art" game.

Plenty of marketing for Infamous but none for Child Of Eden.

And still no Demo on the xbox Marketplace.

I did not know if I would like this game but I gave it a try. A demo could help.

your math is horribly off. lol it a 91% boost means that it sold a little more than half last week than it did this week. So around 19,000. I have no idea how you could get 4,000

I am a nintendo fan, not a nintendo fanboy

Nice, people still love them some OOT. And Wii continues to not be phased by lack of new games. Just goes to show  the influence of blockbusters like Mario Kart and WSR.

Those numbers are good considering its  been out only  1 day before the 18th.

I think he calculated with 910%

Eden terrible (don't get why GAME were promoting it over OoT...), OoT and 3DS good, Wii holds!
