Forums - Gaming - Gaming prices around the globe

yeah guys go import.... this complete BS... it would be related to the local cost of life or something like that I'd understand... but no.... it doesn't even make any sense why make it more expensive in country where salaries on average are lower.... shouldn't it be the opposite just for the sake of selling more product and therefor gain more market shares ???

Around the Network

I <3 US prices. $59.99 new, or I can wait 2 months and kmart will have it at $34.99. Glad I live here.

Edit: What the heck is happening? I can only see the first letter of my post. Can anyone see this?

Games currently cost £50 here in England, I don't see it coming down.

no they dont I live in new zealand and buy all my games from england Ive never paid more than 36 pound I mainly get from zavvi

The RRP price is £50, meaning if you are a Joe Public, and you are buying at face value, you could pay up to £50 e.g the price for Mass Effect 2 and InFamous 2 on the psn store is £50. Whilst yes, stores sell cheaper, They are now allowed to charge £50 for it (for the record Activision are to blame for this when they decided the £40 people normally pay wasn't enough for COD MW2.)

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.
