Forums - Politics - don't listen to ondors lies! (respounce to common misunderstading)

i've posted this in the other thread, but i just want to share it here so everyone can see it.

its a common misunderstanding that people outside of the middle east (and even people in it) seem to believe , Kings, presidents , dictators , captains. ...ect ect, are not always bad, or should i say, they're bad for a reason, bear with me for a second here and read this. (and excuse my typos please!)

Libyan "Rebels" just want Qaddafi to leave so that they can start their own criminal families disguised as cults and militias , its the same thing that happened in iraq and will happen in syria.

dictators sure are evil, but its a necessary evil, without Qaddafi these dickheads are going to run rampart and start their own terrorist group to make it even worse to poor people, and whats worse is its all in the name of god, so people in the same religion will think they're the good guys and send support or just blindly join them like a pack of sheep, and put all the blame on the US ,the British and jews and christians, its like a pack of teenagers who are fighting each other and then blame it on their parents, to be honest i just want to see everyone of these fucking rebels burn and get on with my life.

most people in the US and UK see this from outside the box, they don't know much about what happens, only know from fox news and other sources who are just spreading lies making everything just black and white . hey here is the bad guy who is trying to defend himself by "opressing" his people, and here is his poor people , who are so poor that they magically summoned a huge clusterfuck of ak47's ,bazookas and tanks out of their homes with no relation to drug dealing and black market from other terrorist groups from outside... so whos the good side here? , NO ONE.

things aren't black and white, you got to think outside the box to know the reason why for example this one terrorist group was formed or for example this leader is such a dictator, if there is smoke there is fire, smoke doesn't appear out of nothing.

This is nothing like what happened in Iraq. In Iraq, we invaded, arrested and hanged the country's leader, and left an enormous power vacuum.

That's not happening here. I by no means believe that the rebels are perfect, but they're certainly better than Gaddafi. They have a proper council and a democratic ideology. We have helped them and not hindered them, so they have no reason to dislike us. They are not a subsidiary of al-Qaeda or anything ridiculous like that.

boy... you can't be more wrong than that, all their protesting they're been saying "Screw them again , America and Britania (britain) ",as well as "Death to Qaddafi" and other things like that,  you clearly don't know how hypocritic people are, people in the middle east just hate foreigners (you guys), why? because thats what their fathers simply taught them, to hate and despise americans and the british and jews, they even teach that stuff in schools, its brainwashing, its no use to try and reason with the brainwashed , they'll bite the hands that feed them.

also i'm not talking about that in iraq , i'm talking as after the rebels risen , and now you see families killing each other because one is sunni and other is shiiei and one of them follows a cult and other follows another cult, with the goverment gone, no one is able to stop them, they're blaming it on americans, sure the reason americans are in iraq is oil , everyone knows that , but thats not the reason why muslim extremists are blowing themselves up on innocent people in iraq , no , its just to raise more civil wars, whats the point? , its because of civil wars these cults can raise more followers, get more power and brainwash more people into thinking "hey , people are mad bombing because of americans!"

i know how you all hate how you invaded iraq, but you can't be one sided and blame it all on the US/UK government, the US/UK government wanted oil for its own country sure, and it did it with huge arrogance as well, with the lose of countless us/uk troops, but it had nothing to do with all the chaos that is happening to middle east, people in the middle east were raised in hatred, hatred of everything, the root of evil is hate itself, people in the middle east need to get over what happened ages ago and stop teaching their children the ways of war, and violence and hate.

holy crap don't i sound like a Metal Gear character ?
if only Hideo Kojima was president , the world would be a better place

Surely dictators are evil. The only true democratic exception is Elizabeth II. World democracy by all costs!

@ PullusPardus

I'm not CNN, so I can talk honestly to you. As long as you're killing each other at ME, we're fine.

I dunno. I'm more likely to trust the media of a country that is free, and has tons of independent news organizations then I am a country that is headed by one guy by birth which any criticizing of him can result in being punished according to the law.

Espiecally when it's in support of one dictatorship governments like that one guy.... and the many indepenedent news orgizations have no collective reason to lie... and playing conspiracy theory guy here... WERE controlled by the democratic government (unlike the dictators media?) would if anything want to argue FOR dictators.

I'm going to say the leader of Kuwait has a bit of a more reason to lie to locals... and more power to do so.

Aside from which, even if it became fractionlized groups of warlords... there would still be decisions being made by more people then just the one guy currently.  Aside from which, lack of weapons was basically the whole big trouble with the Libyian rebels side....

at the start of the war... they didn't have any tanks.  Not until they got defections from the army and captured army technology.  The deploying of tanks was a pretty recent thing.

As for freedom fighters buying guns on the black market... yeah, that's what they do, even the "good ones".

Pretty much, this.

Even though I think the Libyan rebels could be no better than the Taliban in Afghanistan by the time everything is said and done, I'd rather them have a democratic chance than none at all. If they can get in some basic human rights, there is always the chance for a free, representative media that can call leaders on corruption and problems. Comparatively, a dictator is going to have heavy censorship and destroy things.

Does this mean every dictator is 100% evil, and Democracy is 100% good? No. But I'd say that Qudaffi is 100% evil, and the rebels are likely between 50-90% evil - still a net gain in my book.

Time will tell what happens, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt - although we shouldn't have intervened in their conflict.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Syria? Al-asad regime killed over 20 thousands in Hamah alone years ago. What else does Bashar's family have to do to be 100% evil in your book?

Look at Tunis and Egypt. Why can't Syria have that?

Not that I am optimistic about Egypt's future , especially after how Islamic figures succeeded in employing religion to get people to vote against constitution changes but still, there is hope, there is a chance for a better Egypt. Ahmed Zewail's fantastic project, which Mubarak refused over and over, alone makes the revolution a success.. and it's been 4 months only.

You fear Religious extremism, you preach against it while forgetting that supporting a dictator who oppressed a nation, killed its people for 42 years is a worse form of extremism. Syria will be in a much better position than Egypt if Syrians succeed in extracting Bashar.
