Syria? Al-asad regime killed over 20 thousands in Hamah alone years ago. What else does Bashar's family have to do to be 100% evil in your book?
Look at Tunis and Egypt. Why can't Syria have that?
Not that I am optimistic about Egypt's future , especially after how Islamic figures succeeded in employing religion to get people to vote against constitution changes but still, there is hope, there is a chance for a better Egypt. Ahmed Zewail's fantastic project, which Mubarak refused over and over, alone makes the revolution a success.. and it's been 4 months only.
