The Legend of Zelda: Spirit's Tracks
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
(Until here i'm pretty sure i'll make it, but if i got spare time i'll continue with the rest of the list)

If you add me, please let me know to add you back
I'll be starting up my playthrough of the original tomorrow - I'll be taking all of this at a reasonable pace so I'll probably only do two or three dungeons a day - and I'm going to see if I can get through it without a map. I like making maps because it's a lot of fun, but getting through without one should be a unique challenge.
Or maybe I won't. It'll be a lot of fun making one again.
Anyway, Helios, you mentioned that you think the Wii U Zelda(s) will probably involve map drawing? That seems obvious now that you say it, but it hadn't occurred to me before.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords DSiWare
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I will also play a select number of other titles.

Add me up
I'll play:-
- Wind Waker
- Majora's Mask
Hopefully I'll start with Wind Waker in 2 weeks.
Add me,
I'm gonna play through A Link to the Past again, the best Zelda ever made, fact.
updated: 14.01.2012
playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles
Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped: the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA
bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.
Add me too :) !!!
I tried to do a full playthrough before TP's launch and I failed miserably :P, i think i'll try it again, plus i have a lot more time to complete it (and less money to buy other games too lol), so maybe i'll actualy make it this time.
My gameplan:
Legend of Zelda
Adventure of Link (never beaten)
A Link to the Past
Link's Awakening
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
Oracle of Seasons
Oracle of Ages
Wind Waker
Minish Cap
Twilight Princess
Dont have a DS :(
| Khuutra said: HERE IS A BIG IMPORTANT QUESTION How do you guys play the first game? The first time I played it, I drew my own map - drew out a grid, filled in details as I went. Good times. The second time I just used the same map. But now I wonder - am I supposed to commit this stuff to memory? What's the normal procedure, here? |
I used memory back in the day. The map isn't so big that it's hard to do. If you've played through it a couple times already, it shouldn't be too hard to fill in the gaps in your head.
I also bombed every wall and burned every bush. Holy crap did I ever have a lot of time on my hands back then.
I'm gonna try to play OoT, MM, and Link's Awakening over the summer. I'll keep my eyes open for a used copy of WInd Waker, but those have gotten scarce lately. I shoulda bought one a couple years back when they were easy to find.
