Probably not, but I can see Sony entertaining the thought if they can shrink the PS4's APU down and manage 3.5 hours of battery life.  At worst, it'll sell well enough in Japan.

They could just use a underclocked new APU Zen based with Polaris 11 GPU, to obtain a PS4 like power... the most powerful portable console EVER MADE, as Vita was once... but being as powerful as the PS4 could be a PS4 portable and with the same architecture (GCN) with compatible games? 720p native Screen resolution is more than enough for it.

BTW... PlayStation VR was called Project Morpheus, new upgraded PS4 is being called PS4 NEO... and this is called Project Trinity... Could this be a succesor or just a revision of the Vita? Anyway IN KAT WE TRUST!

If Sony can make a binary compatible handheld with the PS4 then Sony won't really have to "support" their handheld.  They can support the PS4 and indirectly support the handheld.  It'll keep Sony competetive in Japan, while not really having to do anything outside of Japan other than releasing it in limited quantities and maybe using that shrunk hardware as a PS4 slim.  But I'm not a Sony exec and I'm sure no one is pushing this.  Oh well.

Holy fuck, I just listened to this piece of Ys VIII's OST and my hype levels are through the roof! That and I just read the impressions thread on gaf for the game and people seem to think really highly of it. Some even think it's the best looking Vita game which is crazy that it's even in the conversation consider how Celceta looked.

Yeah. Looks like crap. No real interest in it at all.

Have any of you guys played Code;Realize or Norn9?  What were your thoughts on them?

I'm not interested in the otome part, but I'm wonrdering what they're like as visual novels.  I was surprised how much I enjoyed the romance parts of Steins;Gate (although I enjoyed everything about that game) so I'm sure I could tolerate it.

I'm oddly interested in two of Aksys' upcoming games (Bad Apple Wars and Collar x Malice) so I fancy trying out one of their current games to ease myself in.

Also, this otome game (Psychadelica of the Black Butterfly) sounds unbelievably good.  Why aren't we getting this?  Sounds like DanganRonpa in premise.
