Well I just realised the list does not show # of players, it shows # of plays for a game. So in theory that could be just one player...it could even be just you. That Near-list does not tell how many Vitas are in your vicinity, only number of times games have been started.

Anyway my NEAR was glitching out after I messed with some settings so I ended up reseting my Vita to fix it. Now everytime it updates the amount of people near me decreases by about 5. Also its down to 120 while before the error it was about to reach 250. I LOVE this thing but sure don't understand some things.

Loving the new IP love on the Vita! :D

Just came back from a friend's flat where I showed my psv to my closest friends (doing Sony's job for them). They seemed to be more interested in seeing my enthusiasm for the console, than the actual console :(

Two of them (one American, one English) had psps (though stopped using them a long time ago) and didn't even know about the launch of the console, nor did they seem keen to buy one. They played Rayman Origins and they said that the screen looks great, and also the handheld feels much better than the psp. They seemed to like the idea of lack of UMD (they thought it was an annoying and unnecessary format) and didn't think the memory card prices were bad. On the other hand, they didn't seem to like the price of the console, though I told them that there are many bundles.
I also tried to show them some cool features of Reality Fighters, but they didn't seem to care much.

Hope you had better reactions from your friends.

I showed videos of it to one of my closest friends (a HUGE nintendo fan) and he loved it! He says he will try to get one later on cuz he recently bought a 3ds and was short on cash. Don't worry when the games and commercials and bundles start to pile up your friends will join in for sure ;)

Went into Gamestop today and the guy at the counter was telling me that the vita has been selling pretty well and consistently. He said not many people have been buying Rayman but uncharted was doing well. They have done a good job at advertising the Vita in gamestop. All you see when you walk in is blue. The huge demo with a huge wall of blue vita ads. Buy 2 get one free vita ads and extra trade in towards vita.

I've been watching adult swim every night and I see vita commercial's almost every break between shows. He said they sold okay at first but started to pick up after a couple days. Im unsure what he means considering its only been out for 3 days.

Gravity Daze has to be the game you buy for vita. That demo was so awesome; I stayed in there for like 30 minutes turning gravity upwards to fly around.

Looking at the wall of games I have to say I am impressed. Easily the best launch line up to ever happen in gaming. Hats off to Sony they got this one right!

I want Rayman as it looks very well, but I can't justify a $40 purchase on a game that's only $20 on most consoles now. So i'll hold out a little while on it.

am I the only one who hates that stupid damn Welcome park compilation thing? I've been going at those slider puzzles forever and I just find them annoying as hell.
