According to NEAR, this is the chart for my city:

GAME # of Players
Uncharted: GA 651
Escape Plan 506
Rayman Origins 469
WipeOut 2048 459
Lumines ES 295
Dungeon Hunter 226
LiveTweet 143
Little Deviants 134
Welcome Park 134
Flickr 98
Facebook 77
Asphalt 60
ModNation 50
UMVSCapcom 40
Cliff Diving 27
Uncharted DEMO 7
Netflix 4
Fireworks 4
Hustle Kings 2

If you don't mind me asking, what city would that be, those numbers are crazy high. Those Escape Plan numbers are really positive, hope we get a sequel.

I'm surprised myself, (people were really hyped around here though), but it's a 60,000 to 90,000 population in the city which in the small US territory of PR, its called Vega Baja.

very happy to hear that man :D I really wanted a great environment to discuss all things vita so I'm also very happy to see this thread going so strongly. And don't you worry about it ending anytime soon either...once I get my psv I might go crazy with writing impressions, opinions, Qs, screenshots, pics etc etc and before you know it it will be GDC time..then we will get games like Gravity and Burning skies...then MK ..and before you know it it will be E3, then GC and then TGS! So what I'm trying to say is that I can see this thread going strongly for a long long time.

and about the PS4 thread..I have thought about it. But I don't think it will be right to make one even before a leaked or official reveal of the device. We don't even have any decent rumors yet. But once that happens I will be definitely interested in making it. But if someone else beats me to it (there are many good posters here, including you ;) ) then everyone me included will/should do our best to make that thread as awesome as this one!

and I know for certain a wiiu thread is about to be opened as well so I hope that thread also does real well. Positive environments like these are important

I've been bouncing back and forth between blazblue vita and ps3 and it is fantastic. Lumines and ninja gaiden are a blast too.

How are the controls in Ninja gaiden?

The usual. Tight action with a wonky camera. If you've played any of the others you'll know what to expect.

Also just as a bit of anecdotal evidence, the best buy I got mine at sold out all of theirs on the first day (mine was the last and was reserved).

You actually use the rear touch pad to power up your ninpo by pressing the right spaces. Its a pretty neat trick.

That's one thing I'm very happy with so far in the launch..devs are actually trying to use the capabilities of the system. Something the psp kinda lacked as much as I love the system. With time game devs will get more creative with the implimentations too...can't wait to see how LBP will use it
