What do you mean? The PS3 version has higher contrast. They look identical otherwise to me.

If you take into account the OLED screen they are mostly likely on full parity.

PS Vita version seems to have an unstable framerate and far worse textures. Hopefully a lot of it is just down to video compression and things will look fine on the Vita's smaller OLED screen.

It's portable, so it's better. I was affraid the Vita version would be noticeably inferior, but I'm very positively surprice at how it turned out to be. Day 1 for me, can't wait for it!

BTW. Have you seen the trophies? Damn, that plat is gonna take some time to get!

Given that by his own admission, the footage from the first video is messed up by his capture card, plus the usual youtube jank and that you can't really judge PSV image quality without holding the game in your hands, it seems unfair just to condemn the Vita version of the game on what little we've seen of it

Besides, it isn't even out here for another few months, just seems premature to be writing it off at this point. Who knows, it could turn out fine or there may be improvements by patch before we even see it outside of Japan

I think FF X looks fantastic on Vita. All the feedback from importers & places like amazon.jp seems to be pretty positive.

I heard complaints about MGS2 having issues with slowdown and not looking fantastic on Vita and yet I had a great time playing it and didn't really notice any issues (apart from slightly wonky controls in the corners of the screen).

Well, I will be buying for Vita at least ;P

Even if it ain't cross-buy... I still hope for a bundle with both versions.

It'd be nice but if I'm honest if it was going to happen I think we'd know about it by now, plus Japan didn't get one and they're getting the better of the SKU choices (FFX-2 available physically for example)
