It's certainly possible that this is partly Sony's doing, but I suspect that the whole #jrpgvita thing was aimed more at the slightly bigger publishers, trying to get the like of Bamco and SE on vita and in the west. Personally, I think they've just been attracted by how well that sort of software seems to do on vita, it's a natural haven where they get maximum exposure to a hardcore base without being overshadowed by other games. Fingers crossed the next announcement is Senran Kagura, for some reason I really want to see what it's like.
Also how are you getting on with DW:N? I got seriously addicted over Christmas when I first got it, hopefully they improve on it further for the vita versions of WO3U, DW8XL and SW2HD

That's the thing though. Aside from Persona 4, there hasn't really been a precedent for smaller, Japanese titles selling on Vita. I do understand the point about getting more exposure when they're not in a packed lineup, but still.
Regardless of who's taking care of it, I'm just happy. And I'm going to do my best to try and buy as many of them as possible as close to launch as I can just to send the message that it's the right thing to do :)
Regarding Dynasty Warriors - I haven't had a huge amount of time to game lately, so it's literally perfect for me. I can just pick it up and play a couple of battles here and there. I'm really enjoying it. I do understand that it can get repetitive, but they keep adding little new elements here and there that keep things fresh. For example, recently it taught me about the ability to control two units of troops with the minimap which I thought was a great addition.
I'll definitely be picking up Warriors Orochi 3 or Dynasty Warriors 8 for Vita if they make it over here. Works pretty damn well on handhelds.
(I don't understand the story at all though, lol).
