I don't know what people are whining about with Little Deviants...I had a lot of fun...more than other tech Demo Launch titles.

The game looks fun.. But the price may be is not the best.. 40$? Are You Sure it cost that?

I'm pretty sure Little Deviants is a title that will be going for $20 by the end of the year. It strikes me as essentially being Wii Play for the Vita.

it's only 30 bucks, and a lot of consoles come with it anyway so it's no big deal I don't think.  but yeah, 30 bucks for the amount of time it took me to beat it seems about fair.  I think it'll sell a lot more once it's a 20 dollar game, but 30 for launch is fair.  I agree though, if it was 40, that'd be too much.

I played the demo for Uncharted, and I had a whopping one issue with it: Dual analog control.  Other uncharted games had the camera move around you in an intuitive way based on how you moved and when you turned, but in this you HAVE to move the camera manually like a TPS.  Other than not liking that decision, the controls were impeccable and the analog sticks worked well.  Voice acting, controls, and visuals were all stunning and I can't wait till it arrives at my doorstep once I'm done with all my other games.

Hell of a launch lineup for the system.  I've beaten Little Deviants already, and am half way done ModNation Racers. gonna but super Stardust Delta as soon as I can, and I'm also going to start Rayman Origins tomorrow.  It's gonna be a good week.

That's a bummer... why didn't they keep something as simple as that?

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

It's funny you should mention that as I noticed that odd design choice when I played the demo myself.

And yet in a game like RE: Revelations, Capcom managed to keep the camera positioned just about perfectly based upon how you're oriented in the map, essentially dropping the need for analog stick camera control (and yet it has support for the wonky clip on 2nd analog stick peripheral).

It's almost like the developers really want to make players use that 2nd analog stick as much as possible because it's there.

"Can you see the 2nd analog stick? Good, because we will MAKE you use it because it's there."

he is one of the reviewers over at Destructoid..and he is one of the examples why gaming journalism is hitting new lows in some places

Here is an example

Escape Plan 4.5/10 main issue - controls are not responsive (having played the demo, if the final game is anything like the demo, it's VERY responsive)

MJ The Experience HD - 6/10 >_>

Deadly Premonitions - 10/10

FF 13 - 4/10

Get the idea right? the man is a troll of epic proportions..it's all about getting hits for the site

yeah I agree compared to the EU one it sucks

I think they are trying to target the casual/cod audience with the US commercial...online gaming on the go...and a shooter... etc etc

the EU one is aimed at core gamers (and rightfully so considering this is just the launch and majority of early adopters will be core gamers)

the reviews for Golden Abyss seem overly harsh..as I said before..same as console = not good..try to be different experience = also not good

lol

and read that the system was doing well at walmart online orders

I don't think Uncharted was reviewed harsly, I think just reflect it's a good game but for anyone who's played Uncharted 2 or 3 it's a 'step down' in pedigre. The set piece moments are missing, the characters arn't as strong throughout and it's got no online component. Obv I ain't played it but I gather it's a solid Uncharted but if you give it 9.0's you'll look back in a few years when the next handheld uncharted hit's and realise you made a mitake.

I doubt Morrisons has many pre-orders as tbh, I didn't even know you could pre-order at super markets. Non of them have announced their bundles thus no ones preordering - once they get competitive with Play and HMV's pre-order pricing people will bother.
