Forums - Nintendo - What is Cliff Bleszinski going to say as an excuse not to develop for WiiU?

Man so we all know Cliff Bleszinski and his studio Epic Games. They created the legendary graphics engine Unreal Engine. Now Cliff has gone on the record many times saying Nintendo just isn't his favorite company. He said something like Why does everyone always question us about the consoles we don't love.

However with the launch of 3DS Cliff Bleszinski clearly stated that if Nintendo produced a platform that could run Epic's latest Unreal Engine that Epic would support that platform. Well word is WiiU is far more powerful then 360 and PS3 and guess what Epic's latest Unreal Engine works on 360/PS3. So what is Cliff Bleszinski going to say when asked why Unreal Engine and Epic Games aren't being seen on WiiU?

Will he give some bullshit about a new Unreal next gen engine that is far too powerful for WiiU, will Epic actually support WiiU, or what other excuse can Cliff give? I mean seriously everybody knows he doesn't like Nintendo, but he said that Epic would support Nintendo's platforms if they were powerful enough to run their engine.

Sop is Cliff going to bite his tongue and choose to be a fanboy by not supporting WiiU, or will Cliff actually stick to his word and we see the latest Unreal Engine on WiiU?

What are your thoughts?

Unreal engine 3 will run on Wii U. Unreal engine 4 will possibly not run depending on what features the Wii U has.

Tease.

Considering how Batman Arkham City will be coming to Wii U and the fact that it's running on the Unreal Engine, I'm sure Epic will have something to offer down the road.

He hasn't said a thing about the WiiU yet, so why assume he will say something negative?

Furthermore, Mark Rein (who is the CEO of Epic Games, Cliff "just" works there) said that having the Unreal Engine on the WiiU wasn't "an illogical conclusion to make" and hinted that the Unreal Engine was the engine the Japanese Garden demo was running in.

there is also this which came from Mark Rein's twitter, sounds promising to me.

RT @Michael_French @MarkRein So that means you're supporting Wii U? ;) < --No announcement to make today but let's just way "Water meet fish"

edit: I'm adding this piece of info from Rainbird's link above me in order to clarify:

" Although he wouldn't reveal more about Epic's future with Wii U, he did hint by saying "Water, meet fish" a reference to a statement he made last month saying, "the second Nintendo releases a piece of hardware that can run our engine well, we'll be on it like water on fish."

Sounds like a definite YES to me! (Finally a reason to get hyped!! )

We don't even know the specs yet, for all we know it could be really more powerful than the PS3 for example. Shouldn't be too hard considering it's a 6 year old tech. I wouldn't count that so easily.
