I hope they make another Mario Kart like Double Dash. I loved that game, and was honestly hoping Mario Kart Wii would've been like it. While Mario Kart Wii has some good ideas in it, it ultimately fails for me because it doesn't reward you for your skill like Double Dash or Mario Kart DS.

Super Mario Kart is still the greatest in the series by far, followed by super circuit.

The tracks were tight and twisty and it was far more of a racing game rather than a roll of the random blue freaking shell dice.

I wasn't a huge fan of DD, but I liked it nonetheless. I would rather that MK3D followed the pattern set by MKDS, just improved and with updated graphics.

More Galaxy inspired stage are a must though (MKWii's Galaxy themed RR and Maple Forest didn't alone exactly satisfy me)

The only thing I want from Double Dash is special items, double riders, and Toadette.

Everything else should be modeled after the Wii version. (except Battle mode, which can be modeled after the DS version)

while I liked MKDD, I would rather another mkds kind of game, without sneaking though...
Maybe the could implement it as an option... solo or with a partner mode...

No please, Double Dash was the game I liked the least in the series. That doesn't mean it's bad, but it's shallow expecially in the VS mode. The battle mode on the other hand was very good, but still not on par with the awesome MK64 battle mode.
Yes, compared to MK64 and MK Wii it doesn't have any evident flaws, but the gamplay is just not much as fun.
I agree with Xxain MKDS and MK64 were the best.

ME ME ME!!!

I've been asking for this actually! For Double Dash like Mario Kart to be on the 3DS.

I LOVED DOUBLE DASH TO BITS!!! Sunk in countless hours into that game playing with my brother!
