GTA:SA was my favourite game of all time when it launched, my hype for GTA4 was astronomical, more than anything else this gen, more than anything since Revenge Of The Sith.....and it failed to deliver on many levels and thus GTA4 became my biggest disappointment ever.

But I am still hyped for GTA5, very hyped because one bad egg doesn't mean the other eggs that the bird lays are bad! (and RDR was good!)

But I really want more than 1 city in the game.

Just Cause 2 is how I'd like GTA5 to be (had more fun with Just Cause 2 in 5 hours than with GTA4 for the whole time I played it)....but with a story thats actually good and a world thats slightly smaller and more detailed.

Just cause 2!? really? That surprises me very much I remember my cousin got it and we were both very dissapointed in it, it just felt so awkward and strange..

Awesome game that lacks a bit content and proper story.

Extremely large map, beautiful landscapes and the grappling hook make the game insanely fun.

Ya the grappling hook was pretty fun to use, but overall the gunplay and the gameplay in general wasn't very great..

Of course. Especially if they add the same facial capturing tech as LA Noire.

They really need to fix the animations though from that game, my non-gaming friends all just laugh at the running, but are fully immersed by everything else

Personally, I am interested, but encouraged by Rockstar's great work of late. RDR and LA Noire have been top-quality games, I have no doubt that the same will apply to GTA V, especially after they have had plenty of time to judge what went wrong with IV (though I maintain not that much did) and they have shown progress on this through the DLC packs which were just excellent. Having said that, I am not too happy about the rumoured LA setting, i just don't find the city that interesting, I would much prefer a game based in a fictional Vice City (okay... I just loved the music from Vice City more than anything else)

I thought the story was well enough. To me it was like being in a 80's 90's action movie. The story and motives in those movies werent great..but you enjoyed the ride. The set up could have been better since the were very repetitive. (bus or jeep pulls up....explains something...leaves). I think what the game lacks was a co op mode. I dont know if it would have been possible on console but that would have been fun. Still the game was awesome...im still playing it.

Id be happy for GTA5 if i see some fun missions and better locations.

"Tell me why does it have to be so hard

to let go when it?s your final day

...When death is on it's way"

The only thing i did not like about GTA 4 was the controls, i like Red Dead Redemption controls better because it's more responsive.

I trust no one, not even myself.

I'm actually the opposite to most people, i hated most of the old GTA games like SA and VC but i consider GTA4 the greatest game I've ever played. So im very excited for a GTA5 although i dont think it will be announced at E3.

And like someone else pointed out, i dont understand how they would be making another gta when there already making agent, which im really hoping will be shown off tomorrow

End of 2012 prediction:

xbox 360 : 73-75 million  playstation 3 : 72-74 million  wii : 104-105 million

Most hyped for :

Bioshock: infinte, The Last Of Us, Alan Wake's American Nightmare and Agent

Well, they may have spread the development around dev studios, or may have expanded their workforce, or may simply be putting Agent on the backburner

I really hope the real world LA thing is just a stupid rumor, but I'm still hyped for it. GTA IV was a disappointment, but not bad enough to ruin the series for me or anything. I liked the physics engine a lot, it created some hilarious moments, I just found the characters horrific (outside of Brucie, the best character of all time.) In my mind, though, they totally redeemed themselves with TLAD, which was awesome in every way. It seems like GTA IV just took itself too seriously in terms of the story, which was horrific, but when they added a bit more levity in there it started to feel like a GTA game again.

If it's in Liberty City again, not interested. That place has been done to death...

Either way I do see why gta 4 may have been a dissapointment, I mean come on san andreas was AMAZING I played that thing plenty of times..so much fun from flying an airplane to driving a mountain bike, point being gta 4 was underwhelming compared to san andreas, but it wasn't bad either, just wish they didn't really take anything out, but build on from san andreas instead.

Yeah Just Cause 2 was just so much fun, don't see what was disappointing about it cus it wasn't hyped but yeah it did get good reviews (metascore of 82).

The grappling hook really made the game for me...and PLANEZ

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

GTA IV was my favorite game of all time (or close to) so yes im fucking hyped
