Explain as to why you use either controller.
As for certain types of games only? Or simply who cares?
Either way let's here it people.

They feel about the same to me. I prefer the 360 for its slightly stiffer analog sticks and its triggers. I prefer the DS3 for its d-pad and its sturdier L1 R1 buttons. That's about it.
The spacing, the rumble, the analog positions, the speed at which I recognize the buttons, the accidental hitting of the guide buttons, the grips, the amount of time it takes to charge them, the response time--everything else all feel darn near identical and I transition between the two seamlessly.

On the 360 I actually like the concave analog sticks, as the ps3's analog sometimes I press them accidentally, like in an fps it may be annoying sometimes. Also, the overall button placement is the same definitely more or less.

^^^I used to have a problem with my thumb slipping on the Playstation brand controllers but that doesn't really happen much, anymore. I guess I quit sweating or something.

I just hate when I'm playing killzone and I end up doing a melee attack by accident or on the 360...the d-pad is just awful.

360 by a large margin I cannot stand the ps3 controller. For me, it is too small and uncomfortable. I was fine with the playstation controllers back when i was 5 playing on my PlayStation one, But now that my hands aren't tiny, the controller is just way to small and the analogs are way to close together for comfortable play. So far this year for consoles I've only bought Portal 2(for ps3 because of steamplay) and Vanquish(accidently ordered the ps3 version), so I have been nearly exclusively been playing on my ps3 so its not that I haven't gotten used to the controller. Its just that it is ridiculously uncomfortable for me. I cannot play for over an hour at a time or else my hands start hurting. I've been looking at third party controllers but all reviews for the ones that are similar to 360 controllers talk about the analogs having huge dead zones so I guess I'm waiting for someone to invite hand shrinking cream. But once I can finally find a comfortable controller I can get rid of my xbox. Until then all multiplatform games are pretty much xbox 360 exclusive to me =(.
yeah its to small IMO (PS3) the 360 feels just right but the D-pad is terrible lets be happy this isn't the PS1 days where everybody used the Dpad lol

Damn bro I've heard of people complaining about the ps3 controller size, it never really bothered me maybe because I'm a short guy idk, either way that kind of sucks, you shouldn't let that ruin the awesome exclusives the ps3 has though get out there and play some infamous or uncharted, I'm sure it can't be that bad!

LMAO!! I forgot the ps1 didn't have analog!

I like both, given 360 has one major issue with the d-pad, but besides that I am not picky on controller type (outside of kinect and ps-eye).
