Meta: Infamous 2, but not by much from the looks of it. 
Sales: Demands on variables but I will say Killzone 3. 

of coarse an wii infamous wouldn't sell better than an ps3 game because everyone knows that 3rd party wii titles dont sell. Also whats this killzone 3? PS3 has no Games.

InFamous 2 could get a better meta and could outsell Killzone 3, but it's unlikely.

Realistically It will get a better metascore,

Killzone 3's metascore was pretty low compared to Killzone 2 (84/100 compared to 91/100). Why? I don't know, story wasn't as engaging, but gameplay was improved. New environments, mechs, better graphics and a more polished online, should have at least gotten a similar rating.

InFamous 1 has a 85/100 metascore, and I see the game not only setting itself up for a sequel well, but I also see much room for improvements (InFamous 1 was the most buggy game I ever played this gen). So since InFamous 2 has so much room for improvement, I could easily see it's sequel having room for a hgiher metascore.

However often times, developers can never make a sequel as good as the original. Nintendo has yet to release a 3D Zelda as good as Ocarina of Time, Halo 1 was a 97/100 game, and unlikely to be matcher by further installments, and I think Goldeneye was a 1 off good 007 game.

On a sales front, also possible, but unlikely. Many sequels this gen are seeing stronger sales then initial installments. Uncharted is a great example. However Killzone 2 was a lot above InFamous 1 and Killzone 3 is already selling well. I think hype around E3 and post PS3 consoles could kill InFamous 2's hype, especially since Uncharted 3 is around the corner.

At the time of the post InFamous 2 has a metascore of 84/100, based of 14 reviews, so it ties Killzone 3, but most scores go down, so it looks like it already lost that.
