You seem to be making a lot of assumptions about both Call of Duty players and Elite. Activision only just revealed Elite, how do you know that we know everything about it?

And even if there are say 15 million Call of Duty players who are teenagers, don't you think they would pay for Elite with the right incentives? Many already pay for Xbox Live, so it's not like they wouldn't be able to get the money.

Heck yes. Just what every CoD player wants! Wait.... it seems like they would rather just have balanced weapons, kill streaks, and perks.... any chance we will get one of those?

The right incentives will be there, and I'm sure that the service will be very successful - but it'll be based on stuff that there isn't a viable alternative to, I think.
