With the current development time and the fact that the game has been touted as an exclusive for god knows how long, all I can say is I hope not.

Just like to add:

I'm not against everybody experiencing the game, but I believe FFvXIII should remain exclusive. Every console has it's 3rd party exclusives and it's system sellers, FFvXIII is no different to a game like Alan Wake. Exclusive games often result in a better quality game through optimisation for that particular console.

We all know Square Enix like to splash out when it comes to cutscenes and music, so I'm hoping that FFvXIII remains exclusive for that reason, to take advantage of Blu-Ray.

Not to mention Microsoft only wanted Final Fantasy XIII to go multiplatform in the first place to take a shit on SONY, not a very fair decision considering that Microsoft paid for the deal while SONY was just recovering from a bad launch, I don't support Microsoft dick waving like that.

yes, it will be announced for Project Cafe in addition to PS3

That actually wouldn't surprise me.

I kinda like that idea actually. It might steal the PS3's thunder when it comes to graphics though, people are eagerly awaiting to see how good FFvXIII looks on the PS3, imagine how would they feel when there is a much better looking version made aswell.

I need to try the new Final Fantasy's, I loved FFX, and I need a good RPG series to get into, so WHY NOT Final Fantasy.  Also, arent the new Final Fantasy's Action RPGs with live action fighting?

Your thinking of Kingdom Hearts.  Final Fantasy is still turn based.

The big question is... will that game even go ANYWHERE this year?

^Indeed they do.

Not this E3. Actually I'm not as sure as everyone here that it will go multiplat, though I wouldn't mind as long as that doesn't affect the PS3 version.

I don't know why but I've got a good feeling about this game. FFXIII felt rushed, and although it took quite a long time to develop, they didn't have any idea of what to do for years and kinda rushed everything at the end. However, I have the feeling this game has had a a proper direction from the beginning and they're taking their time to perfection it, no rush. I hope I'm right...

It's gonna happen...but not at this years E3...apparently Final Fantasy XIII-2 has to come first *angry face*

My thoughts exactly.

FFXIII Vs. will likely be a multiplatform title. Outside of Japan FFXIII sold equally well on the PS3 and 360, and SE has no loyalties this gen. If anything they like MS with FFXI HD exclusive, and all those Tri-Ace games.

probably not at this E3, but I doubt it'll remain exclusive. It's kinda hard to care anymore since it's been in development so long that Duke Nukem Forever is coming out before vs XIII is.
