Forums - Gaming - Will Final Fantasy vs XIII go multiplatform at E3 2011?

Final Fantasy XIII certainly did it and sold a lot of units, so why not FF vs XIIII

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

As far as I know we might very well have to wait for E3 2012 at the speed things are going with the development of the game. I'm not expecting the game anytime soon especially in the west.

Pretty much what boutros said. Im more expecting news on ff13-2 than versus. Though i do hope it is multiplatform so everyone can enjoy or as much as possible.

1) Does anyone really care anymore?

2) Why is this always asked before every gaming event? What possible info could be gained from asking this on a forum. Just wait until after and you will know for sure.

My answer: Sure, why not?

It's gonna happen...but not at this years E3...apparently Final Fantasy XIII-2 has to come first *angry face*

I need to try the new Final Fantasy's, I loved FFX, and I need a good RPG series to get into, so WHY NOT Final Fantasy.  Also, arent the new Final Fantasy's Action RPGs with live action fighting?

With the current development time and the fact that the game has been touted as an exclusive for god knows how long, all I can say is I hope not.

The big question is... will that game even go ANYWHERE this year?

Microsoft always pulls a "Steve Jobs" with their "Oh, and one more thing...." comment at the end of E3.  Before, they had Halo 3, GTA4, FF13, Metal Gear Rising, and the 360s.  I'm sure they've got an ace up their sleeve.  I just don't think that the Final Fantasy name (a great series and a big seller) is big enough to be that ace.

My guess:  Half Life 3.

I wish SONY and Nintendo could do that, it's the best type of surprise.

Anyway, I highly doubt it would be Half Life 3, Valve wouldn't want to show that at Microsoft's conference, their relationship is nowhere near as good as it used to be. And plus, I don't think Half Life 3 is in the works at the moment.

You can always dream though =).
