Splinter Cell to me is way better, I too have never been able to ever pick up MGS again after MGS2 - that had more footage to sit through than Sparticus movie. I remember first playing Splinter Cell on the Xbox when it first got released and it blew me away.

The first SC was a watered down MGS, but the series has picked up in quality over the years. It's still not on par with MGS though, imho. Just the name of the main character screams cliche, sounds like a Chuck Norris character from the '80's.

I like SC batter ... untill Dpouble Agent ... that game was pure crap . Oh , and Conviction looks even worse . On the other hand MGS3 beats every SC , and MGS4 will probably be a much higher quality game than SC:C :D

I liked splinter cell and even syphon filter better then snake.

Metal Gear has personality. That goes a long way, with me. I'm compelled to play through each game multiple times. Splinter Cell, not so much. When it comes to games, I'll take fun over realism every time.

I absolutely loved Pandora Tomorrow. Playing 2v2 on Mount Hospital still makes me wish I had the game still.

Splinter Cell series are good games but Metal Gear owns.
